Apurba wins project to model heat characteristics of engine exhaust temperature using big data and machine learning

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Feb 27th, 2017 – Apurba wins a Big Data analytics contract to model the heat characteristics of engine exhaust temperatures based on their internal testing dataset for a large automotive company.

This solution creates a data-driven thermal model of an engine based on nothing but a set of previously run ‘test runs’ using machine learning and Big Data analytics. Once the model is built, the model is expected to successfully predict the exhaust temperate of the engine given a random combination of variables such as ignition time, fuel ratios, atmospheric variables such as barometric pressures, humidity, temperatures, etc.
